It goes without saying that we couldn’t possibly do what we do without the army of volunteers we have helping us keep kids in schools and thriving in life! We may be partial, but we think we have one of the BEST volunteer teams around.

Our volunteers generously donate their time, talents and energy to help make a difference in the lives of the students at Clear Creek ISD and Dickinson ISD. Opportunities range from one-time events to weekly commitments and can include working directly with students or supporting behind the scenes. 

Holiday Giving

Provide gifts and meals to students who would otherwise go without during the holidays. Get involved by food baskets or presents. Ideal for a group.

Organizing a Drive

Fulfill our students’ basic needs throughout their school year by organizing a drive. Help provide new school supplies to students and families in-need by hosting a school supply drive. Basic needs assistance is also needed throughout the school year and can include drives for food, snacks, hygiene products, and other items to keep them focused in school. Ideal for a group.

Guest Speakers

Share your career experience and knowledge with students through a guest speaker presentation or participation in a career fair. Presentations range from 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending on your schedule. Ideal for individuals.

How to Become a Volunteer

If you would like to donate your time, talent and energy to make a difference in the lives of our CIS-BA students, follow these steps:

STEP 1:  Fill out the following forms:

  1. Volunteer Application

  2. Authorization for Background Check

  3. Confidentiality Agreement

  4. Drug-Free Workplace Policy 

STEP 2: Sign all forms and email to Elizabeth Pena at elizabethp@cisba.org.
