McWhirter Elementary


Lindsey Hoffman has been with Communities in Schools-Bay Area since August 2018. She received a Bachelor's Degree from Texas A & M University.  Lindsey taught high school science for 9 years and also worked in the church ministry field for 4 years.  In her spare time she enjoys reading, rooting for her Fightin' Texas Aggies, and watching musicals.




Bayside Intermediate


Diana Hall is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been with Communities In Schools Bay Area since 2011.  She also worked for CIS for six years in the late 1990’s. Diana has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Social Work both from the University of Houston. She is passionate about making a difference in the lives of her students and their families.


Brookside Intermediate


Robyn Neidig is thrilled to be with Communities in Schools-Bay Area since 2018! She is a proud Fightin’ Texas Aggie and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication. Robyn got her start working with the Afterschool Centers on Education program and was a substitute teacher for Special Needs. Go Bulldogs!


Clear Creek Intermediate


Debie Deeleon has been with Communities In Schools since 2019. Debbie is dedicated to helping students reach their potential and feel worthy of success.

League City Elementary


Heather Comer is excited to be with Communities In Schools – Bay Area.  She graduated from the University of Houston with her Master's Degree in Social Work after completing her Bachelor of Social Work at the University of Houston - Clear Lake in 2017.  Heather has a passion for working with children and helping them to succeed.

Clear Brook High School


Connie Maldonado returned to Communities In Schools – Bay Area in August 2013 after a brief stay with Communities In Schools of the Coastal Bend. Connie is a seasoned CIS Program Coordinator. She worked with Communities In Schools – Bay Area from August 2000 through June 2005 and worked with Communities In Schools of the Coastal Bend from 2007 – 2013. Connie has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Texas A & M Corpus Christi and has 26 years of social service experience. Connie and her husband have been married for 26 years and have two children, Christopher who attends Bayside Intermediate and Christina who attends University of Texas at Austin.

Clear Creek High School


Barbara Stribling has been with Communities In Schools – Bay Area since 2003. She is a Licensed Bachelor Social Worker (LBSW), is accredited by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) as a Certified Children, Youth and Family Social Worker (C-CYFSW) and is a Nationally Certified Program Coordinator. She started her career with CIS – Bay Area at McAdams Jr. High and in 2008 moved to Clear Creek High in CCISD.


Originally from Germany, Barbara moved to Texas in 1978. She is married to Roy (for 39 years) and has two children and five grandchildren.

Clear Lake High School


Michelle Theriot  has been with Communities In Schools – Bay Area since 2019. She loves working with high school students who struggling to stay in school.



Clear Springs High School


Linda Deckert has been with Communities In Schools – Bay Area since 1993. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Texas and a Masters of Arts and a Masters of Science from the University of Houston – Clear Lake.



K. E. Little Elementary


Tiffany Braman has been with Communities In Schools since August 2018.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Houston – Clear Lake.  Tiffany believes that with support and enthusiastic encouragement from a caring adult, children can gain the curiosity, confidence, and resiliency to help them be successful throughout school and life!



Barber Middle School


Mashonda Birdwell has been with Communities In Schools since August 2019. She is a certified teacher and loves helping children in her capacity as a Student Support Specialist.




Dunbar Middle School


Stacie Lewis-Roberts has been with Communities In Schools – Bay Area since 2004. Prior to taking a job with CIS – Bay Area she worked with CIS of Galveston County for four years.

McAdams Junior High School


Katina Allen has been with Communities In Schools – Bay Area since 2014. She has a Bachelors Degree in Administration of Justice from Texas Southern University and a Masters of Science in Criminal Justice from Lamar University.  Katina believes that her purpose in life is to be a servant to others.​​​​​


Lobit Middle School


Ed Edobor has been with Communities In Schools – Bay Area since 2019. He is thrilled to be with CIS and loves working with children.

Dickinson High School


Vertresa Mark has been with Communities In Schools – Bay Area since 2016. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Houston – Clear Lake.


Dickinson Ninth Grade Center


Dana Stephens has been with Communities In Schools – Bay Area since 2017. She has a B.A. in Literature from the University of Houston. She has worked in the Dickinson Independent School District for 15 years as well as the College of the Mainland for teaching Adult Basic Education. She believes “Everyone should be educated!"


Hughes Road Elementary


Ke'Ana Tyler has been with Communities In Schools – Bay Area since 2019. Ke'Ana loves working with children.​​​​​


San Leon Elementary


Rayna Lynn has been with Communities In Schools – Bay Area since 2018. She has a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Houston Clear Lake and loves working with children.

Silberbnagel Elementary


Angela Owen has been with Communities In Schools – Bay Area since 2019. She has worked with children for several years and loves her position with CIS.


CCISD Community Partnership

Project


Stephanie Hornung has been with Communities In Schools – Bay Area since 2014. She has a MS in Education.

As the CCISD Community Partner Coordinator she will be serving 5 schools, working with their support teams to develop programs that will fill the gaps of the social, emotional and basic needs of the underserved students, especially those affected by Hurricane Harvey.


Kranz Jr. High


Heather Langley has been with Communities in Schools- Bay Area since October 2019. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and has worked with children most of her career.
